The Maxxis Dissector II is back with major upgrades for better control, cornering, and braking. Redesigned side knobs offer a larger footprint for enhanced grip and stability, especially on hard terrain. The center tread keeps the fast-rolling 2-3-2 layout but now features split center knobs for better braking and terrain conformity. Transition knobs are pushed outward for smoother cornering.
- Wide Trail (WT) casing is optimized for 30-35mm inner rim widths
- Tubeless Ready tires offer better traction, lower rolling resistance, and fewer flats by eliminating the inner tube. Run lower pressures for improved grip and control
- EXO+ is Maxxis’ medium-duty puncture protection option suitable for all-around trail riding and light weight e-bikes. The tough casing and EXO material ward off damage from rocks and roots, while the butyl insert protects the tire from pinch flats and helps prevent rim damage
- 3C MaxxGrip compound uses the stickiest, slowest rebounding rubber offered by Maxxis
- Perfect as a front tire on 130–140mm trail bikes or a fast rear tire on 150mm+ setups in dry conditions. Pairs great with the Forekaster or Rekon for a balanced ride
- Recommended use: Dry, hard, rocky terrain
