The fine adjustment allows for optimum adaptation to different size workpieces and a comfortable gripping position. These pliers are self-locking on pipes and nuts, preventing slipping off the workpiece and requiring low hand force. The gripping surfaces have special hardened teeth (approx. 61 HRC) for low wear and reliable gripping. The box-joint design provides high stability with a double guide, and a pinch guard prevents operators' fingers from being pinched. Made from chrome vanadium electric steel, these pliers are forged and multi-stage oil-hardened for durability.
